  1. MEMBERSHIP PAUSE/RESTART NOTICE

The feedback has been incredible since we launched our weekly memberships and the majority of students are now signed up to it. We do have an important update about them:

Please note that pausing your membership may change your weekly payment day. We may have given you a specific day when you initially signed up but if you had to pause and restart a membership e.g. for holidays, your payment day has likely changed. This is important as it affects your notice period.

To pause your membership, please give 9 days notice to make sure a charge doesn't occur if you do need to have a break. You can see your payment day in your Fresha account on an active membership so you may be able to give shorter notice, but once payment is taken and you cannot make your weekly slot and we can't move the lesson to another day within the membership period, you will lose your lesson.

Please also note that just by cancelling your lesson, it won't cancel / pause your membership and visa versa - cancelling your lesson does not pause / cancel your membership and you may still get charged. We need to make these changes on our end, so get in touch on Whatsapp or Email if any changes need to be made.

  2. Zoom is our main platform for online lesson. Recently we have noted that when Zoom automatically updates or asks you to update the audio settings change. The way they are set by default has meant that some students and teacher had problems with audio cutting out.

  3. The unexpected advice

I was already an active performer throughout my teenage years, mainly as a dancer but my real passion was to be a singer. When I had the opportunity to perform as part of a dance act at a festival in northern Germany at the age of 16 I was extremely excited. We were put up in a hotel for the weekend and performed in front of a couple of hundred people. What a great experience! I also enjoyed  the free catering with all their sweet treats available to us. Not being used to having this available to me, I surely didn’t think of not having all the treats I could eat (especially after performing and wanting the sugary calories).
